Welcome to the World of Quiz
During these strange and wacky days, where we all find ourselves with lots of spare time, people have been finding interesting and resourceful ways to stay motivated, engaged and informed in a fun and interactive way.
As a student, I was never a topper. But when it came to general knowledge and quiz, there was no student in my class- or even those above- who could beat me. Quiz helps with concentration, identifying gaps in knowledge, building confidence and helping children retaining information. A quiz is ‘Practice that feels like play’ and what’s more – it’s fun!
Here at Champstreet, our goal has always been to educate and inspire our students. With that in mind, we have got you covered during these unusual times of necessary isolation. We’ve added a new educational section “ChampQuest” to our website with different quiz topic every week. So get ready to try your hands and test your knowledge at different questions which range across your favorite topics. The questions will be based on General Knowledge, Trivia, Science and Current Affairs and topics that would be covered in different weeks are as follows:
Week 1- Republic of India
Week 2- Wrap up 2020
Week 3- Microbes the Minuscules
Week 4- Space Exploration
All you have to do is Register [Login if already registered], and participate and solve the free general knowledge weekly quiz to become a ‘Champ’ at the end of this 4-week series. The fastest and highest cumulative scorer across all the 4 topics will be declared as the winner. The top 10 winners will stand a chance to win Tripod Stand, Earphones and Boat Speaker and Rs.1000/- in the wallet. The names of winners will be displayed on Champstreet with due credentials. Let’s take a look at what each week entails:
Week 1- Republic of India
As a part of Republic day celebration, week 1 is dedicated to ‘Republic of India’, where you will be quizzed about your general knowledge and understanding of the country. There are a lot of things that you need to know about our country and its significance since the time our constitution was formed. Take this quiz to test your love for India and find out how well you understand and know your country.
Week 2- Wrap Up 2020
We’ve put together some questions in a ‘Wrap Up 2020’ quiz to test about the year just gone and how much of the year you remembered? Some things may be easy to recall, others you may have forgotten entirely. Different questions are covering News and Current Affairs, Covid-19, TV and the Environment to name a few.
Week 3- Microbes the Minuscules
Do you know what can we use to kill bacteria? Are viruses alive? How do fungi help us to make bread? If you know the answer to these questions then you probably would know week 3 is dedicated to ‘Microbes the Minuscules’. Millions of microbes live in our bodies and surround us like bacteria, protozoa, fungi, archaea, and viruses. Where some of the types can cause diseases and others are useful to us. So are you ready to take the plunge to see what you know about these tiny living organisms? Take the science quiz and test your knowledge about the microbes that live in and on us.
Week 4- Space Exploration
If you get excited about ‘What makes a planet a dwarf planet? How many miles are in a light-year? What exactly is a quasar? Or if you know the answers for man-made satellites or the first woman in space; then you are ready to blast off into the history of space travel with this week’s quiz on Space Exploration! Get ready to launch into another world of space while testing your knowledge about celestial bodies, space and the solar system in this quiz.
